Vray proxies disappearing during animation

I ran a test animation last night of about 600 frames. In about 30 of those frames some or all of my cars disappeared. They only disappeared for 1 frame at a time and the frames are scattered throughout the animation. Sometimes all the cars disappeared sometimes just a few, sometimes a lot. Any thoughts on what could cause this?

My cars are vray proxies.

I ran a network render through backburner but in the 15 or so instances that I checked the faulty frames were rendered on my computer which created the scene.

I have a high end machine i7 980x, 18 gigs of ram, and a quadro video card.

I was using backburner to run the animation on a network of 2 computers (my computer and a computer in the IT dept.). However, as I mentioned all of the scenes rendered by the IT dept. seem to be fine. And 99% of the scenes that ran on my computer were fine. However in 30 or so scattered scenes of a 640 scene animation some or all of the cars would disappear. Since my computer rendered all of the proxies 99% of the time I don't see how it could be a UNC issue. Also it was my computer that created the proxies so the paths aren't UNC but they are legit. Unless I'm missing something I would think a faulty path would cause the cars to never show up on that computers frames.

Regarding the Vray memory, I guess you're talking about the "Dynamic Memory Limit"? It looks like I've got that set to 11053mb (10.7gb) right now. I'll go ahead and bump that up but it was at least in the neighborhood. If you have any other ideas let me know, otherwise, I'll try to report back after I can test the new memory limit.

It has to be a loading problem for sure, sometimes when multiples computers try to read/load the same info from of course the same drive you got the problem... some while ago I got the same problem and I mirrored my assets drive to all my computers, so they look the info locally. Proxies need to be loaded every single time you render them.

have you tried to render only those frames again to see if the problem appears only there?
