ulp
Can it be done? Move multiple polygons with one selection to the same Z axis?
BrianKitts
not sure if you can do it in polygon selection mode, but you can definitely do it by pixel sub-object mode. Put an edit poly modifier on the object, enter polygon selection mode and grab the polys you want to move. In the modify panel look for the row of buttons that says XYZ.... if it's not there it's because it's a pixel selection only tool, so then hold the ctrl button and click on the pixel subobject button. This will convert your polygon selection to a selection of the pixels that surround those polys. then hit the Z button in the modify panel. this will flatten everything along the Z axis to one location, then you can manually place your selection where ever you want it to be.
