Josh1587140445
It has been awhile since I have posted anything. So here is a model that I just created for a competition. So technically it is finished, but I would like to go back and add some things within the next couple of weeks. So any comments would be greatly apprietiated. Ricardo Eloy
Well, Josh, I think the lighting deserves a bit more work. You have a nice model, but it looks like a miniature because of the lighting. Also, the grass texture is that shipped with Max, huh? Change it for another, it's tiling like hell and is also too dark. Josh1587140445
Well, Josh, I think the lighting deserves a bit more work. You have a nice model, but it looks like a miniature because of the lighting. What would you suggest for the lighting. I would say that is my weakest point when it comes to rendering. I am working with VIZ 4 and Vrayfree and there is one single target directional. Also, the grass texture is that shipped with Max, huh? Yeah kind of it is a composite of a couple different ones. Virses - What do you mean by artifacts? Add some entourage.
Ricardo Eloy
For exteriors, you don't need VRay. Try Delfoz's ring technique out and you'll get a lot more control over every aspect of the lighting. What your image would benefit here (IMHO) is more contrast. Try a different sun angle to create a more dramatic set of shadows, giving the model more contrast and more volume.
