Hello Amigas

i need best vray sun settings to simulate fresh morning(11am) kinda effect pls provide all possible settings

thanks !!!!!!!!!!!

My dear Soumitra, I think this is the second thread I am reading of u, asking just for the settings, recentely. (other one was about best color mapping solution).

So my dear friend please do some work and stop humilating us Indians. I am very sorry for being little harsh but, please be more creative and do some research istead of asking the full on solution. I'd love to help but when you willing to do the hard work. We Indians are earning a bad name in the 3d industry... and somehow I found it true. It's kinda disturbing.

Prashant! I found this conversation interesting. as being your neighbor I have some remarks.

The problem is with us not only Indians but also Bangladeshis. (all though Indians are exceptional).

1. our civilians are suffering from economical instabilities that force some one to do something for his career. and one start searching for a job. some of them end up with 3D. and they expect to have a certain quality in a shorter period of time. what is not possible. you must have to do some hard work to reach certain level. and you have to help yourself instead of asking others unless you fall into any specific problem.

2. regarding how they earned the bad name... they did some work for practice but did not do much for their portfolio. and most them are at very poor level and yet come to compete. clients choose them sometimes to get the work done in cheap. but they forget that the cheap artist does not produce good result. they eventually leave bad feedback. I saw an employer posted a job written on the job title that "Indians do not bid". that means he had some bad experience.

Here problem with clients is they expect excellent result but do not spend good.

Anyway. Prashant! you could have PM him. :) I dont think one should approach others like that.

So what do you want my friend? co-ordinates of the vray sun? u said u want "all possible settings" LOL..!

u r not getting the point dude,u r not taking others seriously. some times word of Experience is best among all small tips n tricks

i thought ill get some tips like sun intensity white point film speed f number color mapping and stuff like that. i have my own rig and setting numbers/values. so don't dare thinking that i m new and all , if u wanna help go for it or leave it /ignore it

and please keep Indian, Chinese, American, English, Aussie bringing shame stuff away this is educational and learning forum

if u think asking questions is the act of humiliation then u cannot learn, u are not learning rather i must say. teasing fellow Countrymen is irrational and act of conspiracy .

i have no issues with u or n e one else, all i wanted to say is be reasonable and try help other as well as countrymen without any hesitance instead of giving LOL's which come's with maturity in all aspects

Jai Hind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess the conversation should stop right here. because it may lead to political discussion that is not allowed in the forum.

and I agree we should not see others from a nationalistic point of viewpoint. although some time words like Indian or American come forward and need to use for the sake of constructive discussion.

Have you tried using HDR for the environment lighting rather than the VRaySky? Results are usually more realistic if that is your aim.

There are good tutorials available on how to utilize EXR and HDR files in VRay at Peter Guthrie's blog and Charles Leo's HDRSource website. Both sell good EXR and HDR files at very reasonable prices as well, Peter's are even time stamped so you can pinpoint a good 11am-ish sun direction, although you will have to manually align the VRaySun to it if you want hard shadows. There is a good directory of free HDR files at HDRLabs so that you can get accustomed to the process with only investing your time to learn.
