Dusan
Hi everybody, can someone tell me if Floor generator can work with mental ray? Floor Gen. seem to work fine but no matter what I do I just can't create multitexture. Where to put .dlt file? I tried to put it in Max root/stdplugs and Max root/plugins but the damn thing still won't appear in Max. Please help.
Justin Hunt
the multitexture is a vray plugin, use the multi/sub-Map texture with mentalray jhv
datacrasher
maybe it's beacause the blurlib is not loaded, i remember some of the blur plugins need the blurlib to be loaded first. it is also on theere website or in the zip file. also make sure you have the right verison of your max downloaded. Dusan
Thanks for feedback, I will try with multi/sub to get some results but it's very limited compared to multitexture.

Blur has nothing to do with the floor generator or the multitexture. jhv
Trick
MultiTexture is not a VRayPlugin...it's just not compatible with Mental Ray. You could render out a part of the floor with Scanline to a texture and map that in MR!
Justin Hunt
I stand corrected then, always thought it was just for vray. jhv
