aristocratic3d
Hi guys! I cant turn my top view port as camera. I must turn it into a perspective view. and then can set a camera there. I am wondering is there a way I can turn my top view into camera. I mean the way top view port shows directly from the top. I want to see the exactly same way through a camera. is that possible? Thanks in advance. A
Scott Schroeder
Use a free camera, or set the target directly underneath the camera and have it look straight down. If you don't want perspective, check "orthographic projection" in the camera settings. If you do that, your FOV settings will move the camera towards and away from your object. With ortho projection on, moving the camera in the Z direction will yield no movement, it's the FOV that controls it. There are also scripts on scriptspot.com that will take the selected viewport and create a camera from that view. I forget the name, but if you search, you should be able to find them.
