xanderakafonz
Hello, new to the site as im just getting into CG architecture from an animation/visual effects education, the skills i learnt on the course carry over very well and im just working on afew practice projects at the moment to learn new skills in the hope i can work as a 3D visualization artist in the Yorkshire area (UK) Ill become a very active member of this community as the site has already helped me out in figuring some common problems we all seem to have at the start heh. Im using Maya, Vray, Learning 3DS Max as that seems to be industry standard (i was taught animation on maya :S) Thanks for your time reading this, hope your all well. xanderakafonz
Im not leaving it, i never entered it. Heh, im fresh out of uni and after a job. Ive always prefered modelling texturing and lighting to the actual animation - Visual effects interests me massivly, but again then its only the comping that does it. Ill leave the animation to the animators. For every 1 animator there are 50 people doing everything else. Job wise you have to be the best of the best to be an animator and its too tedious for me. I know the principles and i understand the program but im interested in the integration more than the animation. And on a job note, i want to be working by the end of the year in a studio hopefully and animation jobs are hard to come by, best specializing in something where i know in a years time i could have employment. ^_^ Your thoughts?
