Problems with a simple key stroke

I am running 3ds max on mac osx Parallels. This has worked for me for four years now.

I don't know if anyone can help me but I am trying to select two control

points on either side of a box (see screenshot).

I have tried control, shift, etc., all kinds of combinations

of key strokes to be able to select both control points to no avail.

Is there another way to select wo or more control points besides key strokes?

Thanks

Not quite what I am trying to state. What I need to do is select, by drawing a box(dotted lines)

around both sides of the box. In Windows you can select both by holding down the control key.

In Mac OSX, you use the shift key. But, for some reason the shift key is not allowing for multiple

selects. My question is this: is there another way to do multiple selects without relying on kwy strokes?--,

something in the quad menu?? Thanks

ok if shift works in other apps then maybe it come unassign for some reason try reassigning it again. go to customize, customize UI (user interface) under the keyboard tab you can reassign it. if this does not work then maybe it's something to do with 3d. the ini has become corrupted.
