scepticus
Hi guys, Currently working on a short animated architectural movie, simple exterior scene and render time, but i have a problem with my vray renders that i can't fix. On every render there are some white "spots" that i can't delete. I tried to change Irradiance map quality, HSph. Subdivs, Inter sample, Min samples, nothing changes. I activated/deactivated sub-pixel mapping and clamp output, same. Material is basic vray material with diffuse and bump (deactivated it, same), no reflection. Mapping is box, régular. IS & AA are Adaptative DMC / catmull-rom, changed and no difference. Low Irradiance map: High Irradiance map Going crazy! Any idea:confused: Thanks
AubreyM
Try a render with an override material applied to the whole scene. If it goes away you know it's a material. If it is not a material then maybe post a screenshot of your settings.
scepticus
Man, you're the chosen one! I still don't understand the black voodoo magic logic there, but it seems that i accidentally assigned my parasol material to a piece of roof and it was the cause of all those funky white spots all around my scene. Spent the day tweaking vray without thinking to check materials, Anyway, thanks a lot
AubreyM
Glad you got it fixed. Had my share of those problems and know how frustrating they can be.
