Please make sure to visit www.3dsny.com early to RSVP (space is limited) Darlene Ollerenshaw http://www.pepcreative.com/ grew up in a small town in New Jersey. As soon as she could hold a crayon, she was drawing wherever she could - and some places she shouldn’t! As a child, Darlene shared her father's love of automobiles and their history, thinking of them more as works of art. Antique car shows were her galleries, always admiring the shapes, lines, chrome and paint. From her early interest in art and design Darlene knew that she would make a career out of these passions. While exploring options as to which artistic direction to pursue, Darlene came upon a screening of Pixar’s “Tin Toy” during a campus tour at the university she eventually attended. The excitement from viewing this early Pixar 3D animation inspired her to train for and seek out a career in 3D animation and image creation. Darlene received her BFA, majoring in 3D Animation & Design. She went on to work at a small multi-media company for 11 years, gaining valuable hands-on experience in 3D animation & stills, graphic design, and video editing. From there she transitioned to Mercedes-Benz USA, where, after 6 years, Darlene maintains the title as their Senior CGI Artist, and Virtual Garage Manager. The A&G Tool Company http://www.agtoolcompany.com/ was founded in 2010 by two leading industry veterans. With a combined 20 plus years of experience in the CG field, they set out to make tools for the artist, by the artist. The first production based product launched in December of 2009 called "The Studio Light Rig". Customer quote: “I find the Studio Light Rig for Max essential in bringing various ?real-world? lighting elements into a CG studio shots and easily controlling them. The closer we can get with CG lighting that speaks the same language as the DP and Director, the quicker we can achieve a CG studio product shot that excites the production team. Excitement is an important step towards completion.” - Will Shepherd, CG Supervisor, Spatial Harmonics Group For 3December A&G Tool Company is please to be a part of the presentations. A&G will give a brief overview of some of their tools and talk about who & what they are. If your lucky you just might see a sneak peek at a future tools not yet available to the public.
