Claudio Branch
I loved Lego as a kid and still enjoy it with my children from time to time, but this just seemed kinda silly to me. I suppose if your kid wants to be an architect one day this might be exciting and fun for them. Otherwise, who wants a plastic, over-simplied, scaled-down model that reads more like a generic toy than an actual famous structure? I hope I am not dissing anyone who has the entire collection or maybe just one building. I can get tired-head rather quickly just from reading about architecture, so I might be missing something to be appreciated in this product. Devin Johnston
I think the idea of Lego Architecture is better than the actual product.
RyderSK
I won many LEGO competitions as a kid. I still love the toy to death. But this collections is the worst they did, no idea what purpose it has.
matthewgriswold
no idea what purpose it has. $$$ Have you seen the price of some of those sets? Ridiculous. Edited December 1, 2011 by matthewgriswold
RyderSK
$$$ Have you seen the price of some of those sets? Ridiculous. I guess it's collectors edition for older architects who still remember childhood and have very little space on their desk. It reminds me that I once saw a very beautiful BIG model of Villa Savoy by Corbusier. Now if they would make it in such manner ;- ) ! I would be the first buyer Here it is :- ) Here is Tugendhat, more childish...but still :- ) And finally Falling water !
Simon Moir
Cool, but they don’t look as fun as the Lego Millennium Falcon I’ve just “bought for my son" this Christmas...

Graphite
Also LOVED Lego as a kid, and still do (at 30). I miss the old, well though through themes, Pirates/ Islanders/ Knights. But I have to admit the Lego Architecture sets are pretty cool and I contemplated getting one.I think they were just going for "collectors edition" idea. Not so much a theme. But I can tell you one thing.. this whole Harry Potter Lego crap has to go lol!.
