Sindala
Just wondering, When i started my little business 8 years ago and someone tried to haggle i would hold firm and say im not selling fish in the market. Nowadays if clients haggle about the price i go along a little, usually i let them get about 10%. I have a few returning clients who are always haggling over the price. I like the game really. A while back someone wanted 50% percent off, we never came to an agreement. I like to haggle myself, my best one: When shopping for a new scooter i called all the shops in town and told them this: I'm calling all the scooter shops in Amsterdam to see which gives me the best price for a Vespa LX 50, what's yours. The first shopowner told me prices were regulated in NL so he could not give any discount but was willing to add a windshield for free. I called other shops and the regulated price thing is true but my scooter now has a trunk, windshield, bagagerack up front, bigass chain lock, alarm and a mechanical "upgrade" all for free.
