I would love some input to help give me a possible direction to take this. Thanks!
danb4026
Here is an update with a bit less saturation in the grass, added a peep in the window and a doggy in the background.
Janwalli
hi, the yellow light/spots in the garage look strange, also the light inside the house is to yellow for my taste. Probably I would scale down the bigger grasses.
danb4026
Jan, thanks for your input. I was trying to create a warm, autumny feel. I guess that carried over to the interior lighting.
Janwalli
the warm outside works well in my eyes! Did you try with a more blueish sky in the background? I mean, less destaurated compared to now. That might give a nice contrast to the foreground
danb4026
I added a bit more contrast to and played with the color of the sky. Some other minor changes to the fog color and a lens flare.
Janwalli
the sky (color) is not my taste. On the left its violet, on the right "dirty" reddish/greenish/blueish - not sure about that. What kind of sky do you have in mind? Autumn sunshine, upcoming stormfront, rainy? I am asking, because it looks like the original sky is a "nice" blue sky with clouds, but because of the color hues it has now it takes a different direction. But perhaps thats just me and you shouldn´t take note of my comment ;-)
danb4026
Here is 2 different version. Do have a preference?
Janwalli
well, I like both better compared to before. From the second one I like the sky best. But I like the warm tone of the rest the scene in first version - so I would do a mix of both . But as I said, thats my personal taste and not necessarily the best taste ;-) I think I would mix: sky: 20%first, 80%second rest of scene: the other way around. Something like that. And probably it wont look good at all, thats just pure speculation ;-)
