dobilan
Hello, I have a render an animation that contains some 2-3 objects moving along the scene. The camera is fixed so anything else in the scene is static. If there is a method of accelerate rendering for fly-through by precalculating the illumination maps is there such a trick for the scenes with objects? What comes to my mind is rendering the static objects as a background, then render the animation objects and then composite then. But apart of that is there a method of speeding things? Thanks
subburb
that's a method, but you'll need to manage shadows with some matte objects. you can also use the sphere apparatus gizmo see : http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/200R1/tutorials_anim.htm tip : have a look to this free tool : http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/rendermask it can help.
