AubreyM
Scale, lighting and textures are the main issues. Scale: for example the tile texture is way to large, makes everything else look like a miniature model. Textures: Most of your textures lack reflection, the couch lacks texture, too smooth. Lighting: Your lighting is flat and lacks highlights, and shadows. Light just doesn't appear, it has to have a source. A ceiling light, the sun etc. As a side note, colors are important. You have a sterile white room and furniture and then slapped in is a purple couch and a green rug. Not a good combination. The couch looks like it is hard and is not soft and comfortable to sit in. Just a few thoughts.

Wrender
Suggest posting in the "Work in Progress" section instead. Will probably get more feedback that way...
Mario De Achadinha
There is no colour contrast. Its too flat, use your suspended ceiling lamps and standing lamps to create light sources and get colour variation into the image. Also don't like the wall texture its too flat and a really long wall with not much layers and depth to it. Maybe look to add artwork or shelves to the image. Remember you need to add detail to an image if you want your light to interact and give something back, but your lighting still needs a bit of work so I would start there. Look at a photo of a scene you are trying to copy and see how the light interacts with the environment, by just dropping in a few lights and hoping to get a realistic render is not going to happen, you need to paint using light to portray a mood. But keep at it and you will get there.
