anvaraziz
its simple yar.... first group the door u need to animate,,, then move the pivot to one end of door where the door is fixed to the wall...then set keys on frames u need to open n close the door... for setting key,,, if u need the door to be opend from frame 50.. first set a key on first frame with the door closed , move the time slider to frame 50 set another key.(with door closed), move slider to 60 ..rotate the door n make it open ..set another key ,,,after camera passed through the door if u need the door to close back , move time slider to 70 , close door, using rotate... set key.. u can play with the keys to control the speed of opening n closing ,,,,, increase the frames between two keys ll increase the time taken to do the action,,,,u can use max help file to know more bout setting keys... Ace_Face
Was that for Max or Archicad anvaraziz? Archicad doesn't support object animation. For that you will need to move to another render app.
axie
Really? Hmm, I was pretty sure i've seen animated objects like a fountain in a archicad flythrough, maybe I need to lay off the drugs. Anyways, thanks guys.
CU mirco
Archicad doesn't support object animation No? I don't think so! ArchiCAD can move the object ! Use the gdl! i've seen animated objects like a fountain in a archicad It's a frank's (chin) object. CU mirco
CU mirco
See this example made in ArchiCAD: (Omuncolo's walking) CU mirco http://www.3dsmile.it
spankissimo
the pnly way i found this was decently doable was by making 2 different movies and mixing them in virtualdub (free - premiere wanabee). You make 1 movie till you get at the door , and then you start your next movie with the door open, you can make some single renders to add some smoothness to the opening door action. It's a stupid way but it's the only 1 i can think of that dosen't involve any other expensive app.
