erkutacar
ive got photometric lights emitting from cylinders.. they r hidden behind carton ceiling.. its not touching the geometry at all but still for some reason its emitting to the other side of the geometry.. here is a render to show what i mean.. ive also tried replacing lights with self illuminating cylinders but still does the same thing.. why could that be? Francisco Penaloza
assuming that your model is a solid mesh with 2 faces and not single planes, I think it is a indirect light problem. are you using GI and FG? or only FG? if you are using both, try to reduce the radius of your photon map, if you are using only FG, increase your initial FG point density (1 should work) and reduce your interpolation, you'll need to compensate with more rays per FG, lots more, depending of your scene if still look splotchy change to manual interpolation, set the radius to something close to the thickness of your walls and go from there.
