jacob21
I imported a file from Revit 2012 into 3ds Max Studio and every time i try to render it shows the curtin wall glass black, funny enough in the Environment/Effects dialog it shows it as clear. What gives?
vincentg87
try flipping the faces of the glass, if that doesnt fix it, could you post a screenshot of your material?

hockley91
How did you import it? In the past I would get artifacts that would come in as black from Revit. I could never fix the problem. I also get some UV mapping issues as well sometimes. In the case of the black geometry, I could not map anything to it. It never changed no matter what I did. So, I just erased the geometry and fixed it in .Max. It is quite annoying.
