Tommy L
I cant believe how cheap it is. Imagine what this will do to studio photography. It seems strange Ive heard nothing about this in high end cameras, usually technoil;o9gy appears the other way around doesnt it? NASA, then military, then medical, then Hollywood, then consumer. This seems to have come straight to consumer.
Camby1298
If they come up with another algorithm for interactivly adjusting white balance through post, and while adding HDR capabilities...it would be the most self sufficient camera. You could close your eyes and shoot, and still come out with a great picture.
Claudio Branch
The gallery they have on-line is pretty cool. I just wish the images were a bit sharper. It makes me wonder if this is indicative of the output quality of the camera. I wonder if anyone on CGA has bought one of these things yet... AJLynn
It's conceptually cool, execution-limited. I'm waiting to see what they can do in the second generation.
John Dollus
the resulting images are far too low resolution to be of practical use imo. My brother built a stepper motor rig for his dslr to test out techniques using bracketing and preprogrammed focus depths to achieve the same thing. He also ordered a Lytro. My brother is a pretty bad photographer though. My novel approach is just to focus my shot in the first place.
