I'm just wondering what software people use to monitor the status of their render nodes. If any.

you can setup a script that monitors the system process and sends out a notification if the process stops.

Is that what you mean or are you looking for more info like data transfer speeds, operating temp and other vitals?

I use ReFaMo, it's been a tremendous help to not have to go around manually restarting machine and to be able to see all of them at a glance. It's well worth the money and it's very powerful.
