voltaire_ira Posted September 8, 2004 Author Share Posted September 8, 2004 -thanks everybody. the water was made using a plane with an ocean lume), submerge(lume) and water surface(lume) in the displacement, volume and surface material respectively in a mentalray shader. tutorial can be found at lumetools.com. -the chrome material made use of metal(lume). -actually there are overlapping objects on top of the curtain..forgot to delete one object so the materials overlapped. -yup, floor looks too wet and maybe curtains need adjustments. the environment is a hdri map..but i will be adding more bitmap trees on the background.
