Nice work Neil,

I particularly like the mood of the piece.

My only real question or comment would be about the street-lights: have you tried having them switched on? It looks like there's a small pool of light at the base of each of them. Yet neither of the lamps themselves looks lit.

Actually, given how subtle that pool of light is, it doesn't really bother me- and in fact having the lights on might draw the eye away from the detail in the distance, but I was curious to know if you'd tried it or intend to. Especially given that the exterior lights on most of the buildings are on.

I think its looking really nice. Mood is great.

Maybe with your street light try and model a bulb/globe and apply a light material to it so you can see the light sorce. Then when you do your post create a layer, fill it with black and change its blending mode to colour dodge. Select a warm colour and a soft brush with reduced opacity and paint in your glow around your lights on this layer. IMHO this helps add a more realistic "Bloom/Glow" to your image.

Hey there.

I personally liked the previous sky. I would also get that yellow out of the windows and if you're going to stick with this sky, get the yellow out of it too. There is no strong yellow in sunset/sunrise. You might want to add fog into the scene if it's early morning. Just to fade out those distant buildings.

Apart from these minor tweaks it looks really good. Nice composition.
