William Alexander
nisus, I knew that I had heard a similar 'sound' somewhere.......but just could not place it untill yesterday I think it was the first track you posted, sounds just like Stevie Ray Vaughan's "House is a Rockin" ..don't come a knockin.... Background and rythm only. Your stuff is pretty good if I remembered it after this long. Cheers WDA
nisus
Hi WDA, Tnx for your comment. I don't know much of Stevie Ray's music... Only one song actually: Superstition, a song we also play occasionally (nice organ riffs btw!) But the guitarist is a great fan of his I guess... Very strange because the song is an improvisation on Jerry Lee Lewis' Good Golly Miss Molly... (listen to the left hand piano riff...) For the upcoming shows (A great ball of +1700 people!) we have a guest singer and a guest saxophonist... Unfortunately the recordings we made with the saw this weekend are completely wasted because of a technical error... Very bad luck because the session was rather great! rgds nisus
