Johsan
I am sorry if this is an common problem that I should have found after a google or forum search but I didn't. When I render my scene I get strange black artifacts in the shadows to the right side of the house, how come? I use mr sun and mr sky light. Thanks! RevitGary
Did you ever figure this out? looks like you have 2 suns and the shadows overlap.

Johsan
I´m using 3ds max 2011. I think the problem is because of the grass that´s the modifier hair and fur, but I never solved it.
datacrasher
i know you're using the hair and fur and mr sun and mr sky light.I asked if you're using the daylight system? because when you move the hours through time then you can see the daylight system move you won't be-able to lose that dark shadow b/c it's apart of the daylight system the only way you'll get rid of it is by moving the brightness and the contrast Edited February 16, 2012 by datacrasher
RevitGary
If the dark spot is your only problem fix it in photoshop. You can also adjust the levels there for a better image.
