Peter M. Gruhn
Textures are so often of such tiny little areas - a square foot of wood! - that I usually enter into these things depressed and cynical. This time I looked at the page. Saw some wood I'd like to check out. Clicked on it. Clicked on it. Clicked on it. I kept getting the same page of overprinted thumbnails of wood that I couldn't tell if it was useful or not. Could be the web site is broken or a bad design or I have to read directions (frequent synonym for "bad design") or... stopped caring.
anejo
"Free" is never a good thing. If you want something with quality, paid for it.
Stephen Thomas
That seems to be a blog post or something, containing a link to the actual site - http://www.rendertextures.com/ To be fair, it's a decent collection with diffuse, displacement, normal map etc. for most textures. Although the texture sizes are on the small side.

marius e
"Free" is never a good thing. If you want something with quality, paid for it. Dont know what is not good about it, its free and seems good enough to use, and even to make the texture better yourself. There are lots of textures you can buy that are worse quality than that.
