jophus14
I'm looking for any advise on how to create this look of white glass as a Vray material. As you can see, the glass in reflective but not 100% and there is very little noise in the material. By adjusting the reflect color and the refl. glossiness in Vray, I can get a nice reflection but the material is coming out noisy. I have my material at 25 subdivs and the lights are at 16 subdivs. I can post my material settings if needed. Any help is appreciated.
Ismael
Good reference images http://www.opticolour.co.uk/foyers_with_opticolour_coloured_glass_wall_panels_installed.html Then, it is glass and is milky, I would try sss glass material. Nic H
looks like opaque glass to me - id give it a whitish diffuse / white/greyish refraction and some refraction glossiness say 0.7? keep the reflection crisp though. if its slow i wouldn't bother too much with the grain - render a mask element for it and blur in post to suit.
