recommend any free/cheap 3d plants, bushes or trees?

Hi,

 

I'm just starting out so a bit reluctant to splash out hundreds of pounds/euros/dollars on foliage. Least until I get paying clients.

 

Can anyone recommend any sites with a couple of nice giveaways or something affordable.

 

Being a beggar and a chooser, I'm much more inclined to want something high quality.

 

Don't need an avalanche of free stuff, just a couple of trees/bushes is all.

i don't know if you know this max has it's own foliage Geometry drop down AEC foliage.

I think that xFrog makes one plant from each library available for use. Probably not for commercial use mind you but something you could download, play around with, use in portfolio images, etc.

Thanks for the great suggestions guys. The xfrog ones seem pretty good. I'm guessing the AEC max option is very unrealistic. Unless it lets you make your own leave, bark, textures etc.
