villeruuhonen
This drives me crazy I've set my display/input/output gamma to 2.2, but when I put Lens/Glow effect on anything, it's way too bright and it only looks as it should look when I set my gamma to 1.0. I have no idea why this is so... Anyone? Examples, Thanks, Hippo
Corey Beaulieu
Are you ticking the clamp output box under color maping? and clamping at 1.0? (I'm assuming Vray?)
villeruuhonen
It doesn't matter if it's scanline or mr or anything. Now i'm wondering if the gamma value is messing with other aspects too. I can live without Lens effect/glow, but I need to know if it's a real problem... Thanks for the reply! -H
Corey Beaulieu
I'll be curious to hear what others say... I have not had any trouble with 2012 and Gamma. Lately, I've been saving to EXR and overriding to 1.0 anyway, but even before this, when I was saving 2.2, I never had an issue.
villeruuhonen
It really looks like double-gamma, but I can't figure out, where it's coming from. Back to gamma 1.0?? --H
