braddewald Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 All the sudden, when creating a camera, the icon and its target are very small -- like half-size. The same happens with vray ies lights -- the icons are very, very small. My "non-scaling object size" is set to 1.0. Any ideas? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

supertaurus2008 Posted March 4, 2012 Share Posted March 4, 2012 The size of the icons are not dependent on the units in 3dsmax. You will have to create a new scene with the units that you are using for your original scene. Now set the icon sizes Customize > Preferences > Viewports - set the field Non-Scaling object size (default value is 1.0). I just found out one more piece of interesting info: if I go full-screen in any viewport (alt-w) the cameras go back to their normal size.
