M V
I was wondering what the best export method was to export simply models, like a sofa for example, so that I can convert to editable poly and chamfer the edges and add modifiers like noise, etc. to make it sexier for rendering in MAX. I tried .3DS and when chamfering the thing goes batty then crashes 2012 MAX.
BrianKitts
Have you tried just importing the skp file into max? max reads sketchup files directly.
