Roodogg
Hi everyone. The question is in the heading really... I'm using vray ies files with a trusted photometric file. Even though I have unchecked 'area speculars' they are definitely being reflected in the ceiling. I don't want this! Is this a bug or am I missing something. Many thanks in advance. Stephen Thomas
You have unchecked area speculars, but is it maybe still showing speculars from a point light source instead? Try removing specular highlights from your ceiling material instead. Click on the L next to highlight glossiness to unlink it from reflection glossiness and make sure highlight glossiness is set to 1.0.
John Dollus
have you also unchecked the 'affect specular' option up a bit higher in the panel than the 'area speculars' option?
