dande
I was wondering if anybody has used Anima from AXYX Design for crowd simulation. I need to do some animated crowd scenes for a project with a very tight deadline so I haven't got time to animate them myself. I looked at Project Gepetto which looks good but it only works in inchs and cm. This project is in metre. Is there any other crowd simulation software people have used that they recommend? dmv79
Have you considered Max's native one? (if you do use Max)
Simon Moir
I quite like Gepetto too. All the files I work on are in metres, but I've xref'd those into a scene whose units are in cm, rendered and composited them together fine. Here's two Photoshop files, if you use Gepetto you may find them useful to vary the textures on the characters, good enough for distant deadbeats. dande
Thanks for your responses. I have decided not to use Max crowd simulation as it will take to long to set up with the crowd movement I need. Simon. Do you create ythe crowd in cm then reference you main scene into this file?
