toms200
I have a brick texture applied to the large box in the attached image. I have put the same brick texture into a multisub material and applied that to the small wall. What is causing the brick in the multisub texture to render as a flat color? Peter M. Gruhn
Probably an inconsistency of mapping size. Probably one object has real world mapping and another does not.
Scott Schroeder
Or lack of any uvw coordinates. Try using a box uvw on you low wall and see if that works. You will have to play with the size of the uvw to get the brick to look right. The box in the back was created with uvw coordinates already. Umesh Raut
and if I may, sometimes in the heat of excitement or hurry (whatever) we tend to forget that multi sub materials need to have their own ids set on the corresponding poly's. Just check that after the uvw co-ordinates are placed properly. Its so simple yet so so common to overlook.
