Greg Law Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 I'm having a problem with the rounded corner effect in the material editor. I have never got it to work. I even tried a simple 1.0m box with a 20mm rounded corner. Nothing happened when I rendered it. I have looked at a few tuts and followed them. Still I can't get it to work. I'm using an up to date 2012 3dsmax design Can someone help me with this? I have to be missing something. I did this tut using my laptop install. It has an Nvidia Geforce Optimus 540m graphics card. 8gig ram I have a main setup using a quadro 4000 card. 24gig ram Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Greg Law Posted April 11, 2012 Author Share Posted April 11, 2012 Thankyou for your help Justin, I have found the problem. I had been changing the mapping to a bigger map size than real world. When I used the realworld it worked fine. So it must relate to real world size only. Make sense seen as it is a rendering process. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
