How to import .sat files into 3D Max

I have heard that .sat files are the best way to exchange files between Microstation and Max, but there does not seem to be an import option in Max for .sat files - I use Max 2012 Design.

 

Can anyone help please?

Unfortunately the SAT import option doesn’t provide any kind of file linking/iterative workflow, etc, like FBX or DWG files. Like most other standard imports it will always import all data, and there is no object selection method for this import method.. The technology is based on nPowers Translator technology, but workflows and features are different between Body Objects and their import plugins.
