Interior Lighting

Recommended Posts

Im rendering a scence for client, Ive used a omni light with no shadow to light the scene, and try to build the lighting around the omni light, using some downlighters, but it still looks crapy. As an artiste im finding it difficult to render interior scenes without sunlight. Does one have to study photography and studio lighting to apply in 3d situations?. Any ideas guys

yes, with some pictures it will be easier to give some hints. And yes, photography helps a lot!

Using a light without shadow is of course something you don´t find in reality. Of course you can use lights without shadows, thats the nice thing about CG. But it´s easy to spoil the rendering.

Also it would be helpful to know which version of Cinea you are using.
