Chris MacDonald
I'm still unaware as to what this will mean for us sketchup users. More R&D? Less R&D? More features geared towards engineering? More features geared towards Architecture?
M V
It's discussed a little in the current issue of CatchUp http://issuu.com/rclub24/docs/catchup_10
M V
I have to think they are not going to mess with it too much. It's way too successful of a program to mess with. Their will be riots in the streets if they did something major to the UI or format of the program. I felt very scared when Google bought it in 06, and they did pretty decent stuff with it in the last few years but let's be honest with ourselves, Google was not the right fit for SU. Hopefully these guys fix the issues that plague the software to this day (32 bit, poly counts, etc etc.) and push it further.
