CraigMenne
I have been having an issue over the last couple of days. I will say I am relatively new to Vray, have only been tinkering around with it for a few days now as well. I have a Matte black material I have setup with it, it renders out great. The issue is though, in the viewport everything looks degraded and transparent. Looks like some polys are flipped even though they are not. I believe its the material as I noticed the glass material does not have the issue (outside of transparent which it should be) but also if I just attach a plain Vraymtl to it, the display switches back to being fine. Vice versa, if I then go and reattach the Matte Black to it, goes all wonky again. I first had the issue pop up last night, posted about it in another thread but realized its probably a Vray issue and would be better suited to here. The funny thing is though, it didnt happen for the first 2 days of tinkering with vray, just randomly popped up last night. Is there some way to fix this? Is it possible its just because of my video/graphics card? I am on a simple laptop working with these as I have not bought a dedicated desktop yet. Here is the image of the final render and the problem i am seeing in my viewport.
