Hello,

I work with cinema 4d R13 Studio and I saw that you could use several different rendering engines. Can you give me some information about the following?

settings

complexity

speed

Support

price

Many 3rd-party developers offer their render engines for use in conjunction CINEMA 4D.

Some of the renderers supported by CINEMA 4D are:

3delight (via CineMan*)

AIR (via CineMan*)

Arion Render

FinalRender Stage 2

fryrender

Indigo Renderer

LuxRender

Maxwell Render

mental ray / iray (via m4d)

octane render

Pixar's RenderMan (via CineMan*)

VRay for C4D

Thank you.

I think most folks will say V-Ray. 3 reasons. 1&2 Quality and Speed. Other engines have fantastic renders but they may have really increased render times, mostly the unbiased engines. 3 - user base - its huge. Being able to log into a forum and ask a question and get an answer in 2 minutes means a lot.
