thabbinsathasivam
So I have a bedroom scene and i have two lights a Vray light and target direct light. I also have a Vray sky for the environment. But the lighting is to dim. Which intensity of which light should I change for a realistic daylight setting. Thanks
Corey Beaulieu
Your description is a little vague, you may want to consider posting a screen shot or test render. I assume your targeted direct light is the "sun" and the vray plane is you interior light? If this is your setup then the 2 lights to play with are you plane light and your camera exposure. I would play with the camera exposure first. If you haven't touched it from the default, it is probably still at an F-8 and has vignette ticked on. Turn Vignette off and try a test render. If its still dark, try a lower F-stop, maybe a 4. If things are getting better then you can go lower or raise the intensity of your interior light. You should also make sure that the sun is at an angle that can get in through the windows and that the glass material is setup to allow it in. Otherwise its a wasted light. Also, it can be advantageous to use another vray plane light at the windows that is set to "skylight portal". This isn't always the answer, but it can help. sameergadve
I agree with Corey also check the window pane glass material if any and make sure it is letting light pass through i.
