Event will also be held at the Manhattan Autodesk office space located at 38 West 21st Street on the 9th Floor, New York NY 10011. You must RSVP to attend and if you have not attended one of our events since Feb 2012, you must also fill out our registration survey online prior to arriving.

The Highlights of the June 4th 2012 event:

Learning Presentation:

Gary Davis, application engineer for Autodesk as well as accomplished production artist in VFX and Entertainment will be giving us a special private look at the new tools and functionality in 3ds Max 2013 specifically designed for integration with Adobe After Effects, perhaps the most widely used compositing tool in the world. Gary is currently on tour with the official Adobe Roadshow but will not be presenting his ‘canned’ run through of the new features that attendees of the tour will see. Rather he told us he wanted you all to know that our members can stop him at anytime to scrutinize and ask questions as he shows us these potentially workflow changing tools.

Feature Presentation:

Assuming he survives everyone's questions, Gary will continue on in the second session to run through the new features and tools of the recently release 3ds Max 2013. Again, in proper user group fashion, this is not intended to be a sales seminar but rather a chance for all of you to ask the hard questions, and really get a better idea of how this latest release stacks up against the hype.

Refreshments will be provided.

A special thank you to our sponsors:

Autodesk for providing space for us to play.

Great Eastern Tech for keeping us fed and hydrated.

PNY for providing the graphics cards

Rain Computers for providing the horsepower for all our demos and presentations.

RSVP now and we look forward to seeing you!
