jaymorris
hey. i work for a construction firm. it doesnt provide its employees with an insurance cover. can someone guide me whether i should get myself insured on my own or is it the employers sole responsibilty that they are showing negligence for? will professional indemnity insurance be enough ? jaymorris
I work for a construction house. and i was referring to professional indemnity insurance and personal protection insurance. will i need both? if not, which should i go for considering my profession as an architect. thank you:)
Chris MacDonald
You'll definitely need professional indemnity insurance - but I've never heard of an architect working at a company and having to provide his own. That cost should be covered by the company, surely?!
jaymorris
well apparently this is the case, i have a meeting with the HR manager next week. i plan to discuss this issue with him. If they still donot have a policy or alternative i shall have to work on getting the isurance myself. so thank you Chris
