rafaellopez
Hello I have come to the forum to see if anyone here might have a suggestion on how to develop or do scratch edges on furniture such as tables , chairs or any other piece. I have tried several option as plugins from Neil Blevin, edgefinder to get a very good quality. Maybe some suggestion with PhotoShop.
YOHKOH
Hi Rafael The most successful way would be to unwrap the object in 3ds Max using the UVW unwrapper and then paint the texture in Photoshop, not forgetting to do reflectance and glossy maps as well as bump. You could then use greyscale versions of your painted texture as a mask on a blend material to merge between clean and dirty textures.
