brettmacintyre
Hi there, I'm new to the forum, and I was just wondering if anyone has any tips/resources for making a rice paper-like material in Vray for Sketchup. I am trying to create a wall using Kalwall, which is a commercial product and the closet analogy I can think of is rice paper. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated! John Dollus
from an illustration standpoint, it's pretty much frosted glass with a dose of self illumination for transmittance and muted reflections. If you want to be technical about it and have a lot of time, you can look at subsurface or two sided materials but it's really not necessary. brettmacintyre
Thanks! I'll give it a shot. Does adding an illuminance layer affect the transparency at all?
