Ninja
I dont know if you guys have stumbled upon this, but its a fantastic "work in progress" crowd simulation plugin created by Autodesk. The main restriction it has at the moment though is it only has 2 x-ref characters (and thus 2 texture sets). Has anyone figured out how it can used with multiple textures to add realism and variation...ie, it still only uses 2 character models, but each x-ref can be assigned different textures ? datacrasher
max has it's own crowd simulation if you look in the reference file or the manual the reference files a lot of information. why do you need a another software or plug-in? you can add multiple textures by using the multi/sub-object material
Chris MacDonald
He is talking about the NEW max crowd sim. It ships with max, it's not 3rd party.

Justin Hunt
In Command pannel -> helpers -> Crowd , Its more like a flocking system rather than an "intelligent" walking people simulation like Gepetto. I have never used it though so I cant tell you more. I have high hopes for Gepetto, just hope they dont let it fall by the wayside or stuff it up when it does eventually ship. jhv

frankbischoff
Hello, I've just started using Geppetto and have even a question: Some characters run with me on the spot and do not run with the others. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
