This model was created by my colleague in our university. just practising with vray.im not satisfied with the whole scene esp. the plant behind the chair.any comments to improve will be appreciated.

looks pretty good. your chair is really well done but the tilings behind looks extremely big. i dunno wats behind the plant..but it surely looks weird.

Same remark concerning the background. What's probably bothering you with the plant behind the chair is the composition, the plant is situated precisely behind the chair and it looks awkward. Less specular on the leather and I think something is wrong with the texture behind the Barcelona chairs, though I can't tell what. Maybe add some specular or reflecion there. And to overdoo my critics; the handrail on the stairs are weird as well, maybe use anothe material as chrome? (It is chrome isn't it?)

But good composition and very good colour balance.
