new_xieland
I know they took out the blue render progress bar sometime ago from Vray for Sketchup so how is everyone dealing with this issue? It's very frustrating not knowing how long a render is going to take especially when you're testing new settings... You also have absolutely no idea what pass/phase the rendering is at. Any ideas? thomthom
I'll be reintroduced in the next version. Devin posted over at SCF a video demoing it. As for dealing with 1.49.01 without it - I've gotten used to it by now. I usually get an idea of how long it is when it's doing the lightcache and initial IR passes. marcelo fernandes
Well, and if someone decided to take the wheels off your car, would you get used to it? You'd usually get an idea of how it would be till the next bus came... Just kidding, dude. Can't imagine any logical reason for them to have done it. Anyways, i'm glad they are reitroducing it on the next version. (And can anyone guess if the next version will be out anytime soon or if it'll be for SU9 only, if SU9 is ever going to exist?) I want to buy it, but considering all the limitations it has, i'd rather wait.
