The file was created with an older version of the v-ray renderer

Please can anyone help me out here..

i installed a new version of vray 2.00.03 for max 2012 and its complaining that The file was created with an older version of the v-ray renderer whenever i open a file which was done with vray 2.00.01.. please how do i get my render settings to be retained.

 

i dont want to believe that i will have to restart configuring my render settings everytime i open any of my old files..

You can save your render settings as a render preset and reload them in your newer version of VRay when you open your older file.

Hi,

I'm having the same problem; I have migrated from Vray 2.0 to Vray 2.01

I lost the settings of hundreds of older files and I have no idea what todo, the problem is, I can’t remember the old settings and I'm having disasterresults with the new renderings!

All the lights and settings are reset, I have to repeat it all again!

Please if you had the solution, let me know!
