stayinwonderland
I'm using a vraylight material for an environment cylinder with a sky map on it. I just turned off all my lights and noticed the material is illuminating the scene slightly. I've unticked all the necessary in the vray object properties dialogue. It's still giving off some light. Direct illumination isn't on either. Any thoughts? I want it to affect reflections so is it just not possible to have the sky completely stay away from illumination in that case? jackbird
Try a VRayoverrride material with the GI material slot set to a plain nearly-white VRayMtl.
stayinwonderland
I'd forgotten that I posted this. I think it had something to do with the overrides being set to something. I had to turn everything off. Thanks.
