Jock
I've got a scene i'm working on with a suspended ceiling, which is simple enough, nothing too taxing in the scene. I want some spotlights and I could swear i've done the same before. I use a free spotlight, and make sure shadows is on with vray selected. Now despite there being only 4 spotlights, the whole scene seems to crash when it comes to 'preparing global light manager' In the end despite it being a low quality, low resolution progress shot, eventually after about 5-10mins it renders but doesn't respond for ages. Is there something simple i'm missing because as mentioned i've used the same before with no problems. I even rendered it on my old computer to see if it was something to do with the new rig but the exact same happened. Thanks
Corey Beaulieu
Have you tried just deleting and redo-ing the lighting? You are right, it should work just fine.
